Frame-drum samples recorded dry via the finest microphones and pre-amps. Two stereo mic positions (close & room), and through a vintage Studer 169 desk. Also included, are two separate recorded vintage “spring reverb tubes” tracks, for cinematic Epic’ness.

Hits and strikes recorded over many dynamic layers with different beaters and numerous round robins. Single hits recorded with mallets, sticks, hands and fingers.

Sampled ceremonial framedrum aided by very detailed dynamic range.

Granular Sound Design

The [FX ] Sound Sculpt-tools allows you to extract small fragments of sounds and meld them into expansive, evolving loops. It can also conjure the delightful patter of raindrops or transform them into a mesmerizing, enveloping wall of sound, reminiscent of the mesmerizing qualities of granular synthesis.

Drums made from hollowed-out logs and played using sticks or beater. We discovered that striking two or three drums simultaneously generated the most cinematic sounds.

We simply focused on finding and sampling Framedrum hits that we thought sounded best.

The library includes club mallets and finger hits and slides, with an array of custom-designed special effect instrument patches. Add on to that, a range of cinematic sound-sculpting options. Plus a bonus IR pack
