It is a choir Kontakt library that blends classical precision with Nordic singing traditions. It focuses on natural sounding voices, alternative vocal sounds, extended techniques, and textures, providing a unique palette for scoring modern cinematic music.
The short answer is no. UNSUNG is not a traditional choir library. If you are looking for a polished, standard ensemble with smooth legato transitions for classical or “epic” choral writing, this is likely not the tool you are looking for.
Instead, UNSUNG is an expansive collection of alternative vocal articulations. Captured in collaboration with the vocal group Små Grå, the library focuses on the friction, the breath, and the “imperfect” natural vocalisations that traditional libraries usually polish or smudges away.
We designed these sounds to act as creative triggers—tools to lead you down alternative pathways and unusual directions in your music. It is a library of “tone-poems,” wordless vocables, and visceral gestures.
The recordings were done in a dry sounding studio, and recorded through Neve pre-amps.

YES. This is essential. UNSUNG requires the Full Retail Version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or later. It will not work in the free Kontakt Player. If you load it in the free Player, it will time out after 15 minutes.
Since this is a dedicated third-party library requiring the full version of Kontakt, it does not use a serial number in Native Access. Simply download, unzip, and load the .nki files directly from Kontakt’s Files tab or drag-and-drop them into the interface.
