Tonebars is a recorded Rhodes MarkI captured with a boutique vintage signal chain. For the main patch, the tonebars was plucked with finger tips rather than played with keys, making a sonorous tender mellow sound.
The soundboard was outfitted with per-tonebar piezo pickups to allow for a fuller sound
This is not the standard bell-sounding rhodes piano sound. This one is more wooden sounding, with a clean crisp and warm analogue sound.

The Silk Rhodes is a recorded 1975 Rhodes Mark1 captured with a boutique vintage signal chain. It was outfitted with per-tonebar piezo pickups to allow for a fuller sound. Tines were struck and plucked, and therefore sounding different than other sampled Rhodes pianos.
