We have worked with these muscians on several occations, and has developed and experimented with how to create something unique.— resulting in a kaleidoscope of modern unusual, inspirational, cinematic cello ensemble colours.

How is it different from other cinematic string libraries?

Rather than mimicking orchestral realism, Osmosis embraces usable unusual lively contemporary cello timbres. Its “pendulum” patches fade between articulations, while its Sculpturing Engine lets you warp and morph sounds—creating evolving drones, pulsing textures, and cinematic ambiences.

Why is the output level of Kontakt low?

The core reason is to ensure optimal gain staging and ample headroom within your digital audio workstation. When individual patches come in at a lower default level, it prevents accidental clipping (digital distortion) on your bus sends and master output, particularly when you’re layering many instruments or adding processing. This approach gives you full control to blend our sounds seamlessly into your mix without fighting “hot” signals.
