Overvoltage is a cranked sounding organ library from Wrongtools. Wrongtools have pushed these organs through eccentric analog gear like vintage amps, spring reverb tanks, car speakers, and even a telephone hacked into a mic preamp.
We believe there’s still so much left to explore in those beautiful old organs circuits. We set out to make something alive, sparkly and not boring, and we hope it sparks something in you too.
Our philosophy was to extract the inherent “living” and sometimes unstable nature of these old electronic circuits and keys. By pushing them through unconventional and “wrong” gear, we aimed to amplify their imperfections.
Each patch carries that raw, acoustic grit. While it includes features like modwheel-controlled dynamics, filter and FX settings, and a resizable interface for playability, it never loses that untamed, unpolished edge.

Absolutely! All major parameters (filters, LFOs, effects) are fully automatable via Kontakt’s host automation or MIDI CC.
