Our philosophy was to extract the inherent “living” and sometimes unstable nature of these vintage transistor organs, which are often overlooked in favor of more pristine or emulated sounds. By pushing them through unconventional and “wrong” gear, we aimed to amplify their imperfections and create textures that feel alive, unpredictable, and raw, diverging from typical clean sample libraries. It’s about finding beauty and utility in the grit and chaos that “overvoltage” brings.
We are keyboardists and own many rare and weird looking organs, collected from all over the world.
This isn’t about sacred hymns; it’s about the untamed energy of organs buzzing and groaning with a life of their own, ready to ignite something in your music.
We actively avoided sterile sounds. Each patch carries that raw, acoustic grit. While it includes features like modwheel-controlled dynamics, filter and FX settings, and a resizable interface for playability, it never loses that untamed, unpolished edge. It’s the sound of electricity, dust, and a little bit of beautiful chaos.
