It’s like a soft, muted grand piano with warm, cello-pizzicato harmonics like tones.
It’s an unusual deep-sampled grand piano with up to 9 velocity layers x 3 roundrobins.
The recording session took about a week. Careful adjustments to the putty dashes was done to achieve the best-sounding harmonics across the dynamic layers and round-robins.
Then… over several months, the samples were polished and refined. Resulting in what we experience as a new kind of piano sound. Very inspiring, unusual and an absolute pleasure to play.
