Putty Grand Piano is a unique prepared piano library for Kontakt, capturing a grand piano softened with putty on the strings for a warm, intimate, and gently muted tone.
SAMPLED FOR KONTAKT
The recording session took about a week. Careful adjustments to the putty dashes was done to achieve the best-sounding harmonics across the dynamic layers and round-robins.
Then… over several months, the samples were polished, fine-cut and refined. Resulting in what we experience as a new kind of piano sound. Very inspiring, unusual and an absolute pleasure to play.
