Most libraries sample a single celestam while this is two. Our method captures the natural sympathetic resonance, slight phase differences, and combined harmonic richness of two instruments interacting in a world-class hall, resulting in a sound that is inherently fuller, more alive, and less static than single-instrument recordings.

Recording two celestas in unison is the core idea of this library. Standard celesta samples can often sound somewhat flat or “glocky” due to their quick decay. By having two instruments played simultaneously by the same pianist, notes trigger at the exact same moment, resulting in:

• 1 ) A fuller, more varied, and vibrant resonance.
• 2 ) Increased depth and natural detuning from the instruments interacting in a real acoustic space.
• 3 ) A “living” sound that is far more inspiring and expressive than single-sampled counterparts.

The celestas were recorded in the Fartein Valen hall, renowned as one of Europe’s finest sounding halls, ensuring a pristine and natural acoustic capture.
