This library features recordings of a 1930 Bechstein Grand piano, captured using our favorite hardware effects plus stereo tape echo. The result is an indescribable, touching, sensitive and phenomenal piano that we love to use. Often on the melody, but also inside the arrangements to create depth and warmth in the background.
The Bechstein was shipped to Germany and carefully restored and tuned before being installed in our studio. The piano was recorded using a variety of high-end microphones and mixed together as we thought it sounded best.
